A Diamond in the rough

I only recently made the decision to convert my passionate hobby, Photography, into a career. “Doing what you love is happiness, loving what you do is freedom”.

This is also the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going.

So, in many ways, I am still “a diamond in the rough”.

Challenges

I am very positive and passionate about everything that I engage in. I have an open mind and an adventurous spirit and welcome any challenge that crosses my path. I believe that by overcoming challenges, you learn the most.

You will be Perfectly Fine with Minimalistic Photography Gear

Starting off with Basic Photography Gear

You don’t need the best and the most expensive photography equipment when starting off.

I would say, if not going to use your phone’s camera, you need a camera that you can afford, feel comfortable with and fit in with your lifestyle.

You do need a memory card for your camera. You will have to consult the manual for all your options.

A charged, spare battery, is definitely advisable.

You will eventually need a tripod.

I would suggest an external hard drive to make a regular backup of your photos.

Another necessity is a waterproof camera carry bag.

Open mind and Creative Spirit

I love Photography, because I can live out my creativity in so many ways.

Hard Work vs Talent

I Love the quote the Joel Grimes always uses, “Hard work will overpower talent, any day.”

With Hard Work, Anything Is Possible, As Long As You Believe In Yourself!
